We savored two of the region’s iconic dishes: Poc Chuc and Yucatán-styled Pollo Asado.
Poc Chuc is a traditional Yucatecan dish made from grilled pork marinated in citrus juices and seasoned with local spices. We got a little tired of poc chuc after having it a third time in three days.

The Yucatán-styled Pollo Asado, served with rice, offered a refreshing change. This unique take on grilled chicken, marinated in achiote and sour orange, was a perfect blend of earthy and citrus notes.

We are thankful of the rich culinary diversity in Yucatán!
