My trip from Shanghai Pudong Airport was an exhilarating blend of speed and urban exploration, thanks to the Maglev train.

It’s just super convenient and very comfortable:

The Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) Train, clocking speeds up to 301 KM/hr, is a marvel of modern transportation, making the journey to Longyang Road Station both swift and smooth.

Starting at Pudong Airport, the Maglev’s rapid acceleration is a thrill. The landscape blurs as the train whizzes past, reducing a journey that would take hours into mere minutes. As a fan of the Maglev, I couldn’t help but marvel at this engineering feat, a stark contrast to the slower pace of air travel.

At Longyang Road Station, the transition from futuristic speed to the bustling city life was seamless. Here, I stumbled upon a delightful surprise – the 85 °C Bakery, a familiar sight from San Francisco Bay Area. This bakery, known for its delicious pastries and coffee.

The final leg of my journey involved switching to a regular train, a more grounded travel experience but no less efficient. This part of the trip offered a chance to observe daily life in Shanghai, a city where tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously.
I’m excited! It’s my first time in China proper!
