Look what people do when they’re really bored at work. Probably caught in a security camera.

I’ve started schooling around 3 months back in Singapore Institute of Management through one of their University of London programmes. And because of that, I’ve got busier.
School has been interesting, learnt quite a bit from there. I’m not a good student though, spent most of my time looking around in class, getting distracted and picking out all the things that is just not important.
I have also involved myself with some work when I’m studying, working for a local start-up on Flash-related work.
I haven’t really got clearance to talk about my work yet so we’ll probably leave it for next time.
I still continue to read, read all sorts of things that don’t aid my school, don’t aid my work too. Perhaps it’s time to cut time from that.
At least my unofficial holidays are coming but then again, that would just mean work for me.

The project aims to drive data communication to a higher level while still maintaining a easy-to-use approach for the technology-not-so-inclined. We have great hopes of this project revolutionizing the way people communicate with one and another.
We are looking for Singaporeans for this project. Interested parties, feel free to contact me and more can be discussed with my boss.

Here’s my table, it represents what I do everyday. Hmmmp… Let’s see… I’ll start top left to bottom right:
My table get messy and gets neat every now and then. When my table is messy, it actually means I am doing some work. If it’s neat and tidy, well… It’s not a good sign. It means that I have nothing to do and decided – on a really rare occassion – to clean up the mess. May my table stay messy till August.
I dragged myself to go to this person’s house to fix his computer. He is rude and keep bargaining with me for a better price. I almost wanted to say no already but I decided to go fix his bloody computer anyway.
I got his phone number from my mother’s friend who wished that I help this fellow up a little. I only know how to fix basic problems by the way and I prefer fixing software-related issues. And so I called him:
Me: I’m the fix-computer guy.
Him: Good, come my house, my computer isn’t working.
Me: Is it a software or hardware problem?
Him: Software.
Me: Do you roughly know what’s wrong?
Him: Power pack spoil.
Me: Power pack? You mean power supply?
Him: No, power pack _lah_.
Me: And you sure it is a software problem?
Him: Power pack is software.
Okay, so it’s a software problem and I went to his house. And I found out it is a freaking hardware problem. It is a power supply problem and the only solution that I know is to replace the power supply. I offer to buy him a new one but he only wants second hand power supply. In the end, I gotten him one and fix it up for him. I wasn’t happy with him and he probably isn’t happy with me either.
He is by far the most rude person I have talked to. It almost makes me feel like not fixing any more computers. When I quote a price, I quote a reasonable price and do not expect people to bargain it down. I don’t like to penalize those people who do not bargain.
First day out of army, I feel so ä¸Âä¹ æ?¯!
I didn’t do much today except to clear up some back logs of work. I’ll be ready to work again tomorrow. Meanwhile, I’m kinda looking for a local job (in Singapore). I can only work about 2 or 3 months and am hoping to work in the sales, marketing, promotions field. If you people have any job _lobang_, do contact me.
