Shopdropping was probably the last kind of giving on most peopleâ€™s minds as they shopped during the holiday season. Shopdropping, also known as droplifting, is the incredible act of reverse shoplifting: going into stores and putting things onto the shelves. Banksy is probably the best known shopdropper, famous for putting out his own subvertised versions of Paris Hiltonâ€™s CDs and hanging his subversive art in galleries.

It might not surprise you to learn that reactions to shopdropping or droplifting vary as much as approaches to it and reasons for doing it. Some people find it harmless and amusing while others find it shocking and disturbing. Shopdroppers who are caught are variously freed by confused police or held on charges related to destruction of property or even fraud. Reactions, criticisms or other shopdropping thoughts? PARTY princess Paris Hilton is $60 million out of pocket after her billionaire grandfather – appalled by her jail term for drink-driving offences – axed her inheritance.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter’s wild behaviour – notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet.

But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw.

“He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris,” says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton.

“He now doesn’t want to leave unearned wealth to his family.”

Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month’s sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone.

This is a pretty good parody of Paris Hilton. I feel a little sad for her when her chao geng plan fail but oh well… It shows that you don’t get away with things all the time just because you’re rich.

It seems like Paris Hilton has done what most army personel would have done – chao geng which means to excuse yourself from responsibilities.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of five days — the normal stay for a violation of this kind. Her five days began Sunday night and concluded early Thursday morning.

LA County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore says that Paris Hilton has been fitted for an ankle bracelet and put under house arrest for the next 40 days, after authorities decided to release Paris from jail due to medical reasons. She got out of jail just after 2:00 AM.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris’ “medical issue” due to confidentiality, but said that medical officials “constantly examined” her while she was in jail.

See! Medical reasons. Haa! I knew it, medical reasons. Money makes the world go round I feel.

I was never interested in politics but I have to say. The General Election 2006 (GE 2006) in Singapore is actually rather Singapore. Singapore is a small country, we have no state, no province so ministers are elected for town councils and Group Representation Constituency (GRC). You can read more about it at the Community Development Council (Singapore).

Our government tells the politics to shut up and not do podcast which many don’t really agree. And government added that you cannot post any thing that has a political stance unless you obtain a license. I think it’s something like that, they discussed a bunch of stuff and made a bunch of rules on the election that is perhaps rather unnecessary.

Once again, the People’s Action Party (PAP) is probably going to win again. They have been rather consistent in this elections. No high school embarassments, just smiles, white top, white bottom and orchids in front of the camera. The squeaky clean image deserves a mention actually.

The Worker’s Party (WP) is in some sort of trouble though. One of the guys, James Gomez, kinda screwed up. Apparently, he accused the electorial department of eating up one of those must-fill forms. There was some frenzy and it would have been a major embarassment for the department.

But the thing is that closed circuit television (CCTV) reveals startling images. Gomez looked around after the media stopped filming the submission process and place the document into his folder. And he claimed the submitted.

This later became quite a serious issue after PAP repeatedly picked on it. It’s getting naggy, old grandma didn’t even nag so much. They want the whole world to now that the rival party’s member Gomez is a “liar”. And Minister Mentor (yeah, our country invent this position) Lee Kuan Yew adds that Gomez can sue him.

The evidence is too negative for Gomez. This video footage become more talked about than Paris Hilton (tammy still holds top spot a week longer). For Gomez, I sense that he’s probably going to have a hard time. And Worker’s Party would probably suffered because of him in this round of the election.

In my opinion, the PAP did best in digging up this incident and accusing non-stop. That’s the reason I watch the news recently. I mean, someone has to be more interesting than Desperate Housewives’ Brie in order to make me switch right?

Anyway, all Singaporean will get a day off coming Saturday to vote for their favorite guy. Let’s the battle begin.

It used to be just Paris Hilton – the heiress of Hilton hotel who probably booked a hotel and enjoyed sex in there. Now, it’s Fred Durst’s turn. You know, the lead vocalist from Limp Bizkit. He too had some sex going on.

And, like Paris Hilton, his sex scene was captured in video – the only difference – with his knowledge and by himself.

…some fool has taken it upon himself to ‘leak’ a sex tape starring the one person you’d never want to see in a sex tape, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

Gawker then called the video “completely and utterly disheartening” and claimed that “Fred Durst’s unimpressive penis does little for our already fragile psyches”.

Anyway, Gawker received a lawsuit from Fred Durst.

Someone sent us a link to a video of your penis, we went into shock, and we shared it with the world for about 2 hours. Then we wept, found God, took a hot bath, and removed the video from our site.

But nothing we do is ever good enough for you, is it? Your exotic Californian lawyers sent us a cease-and-desist order on Monday, 3 days after we had already taken the video down. You were still hurting and we understood, but now you’ve gone and filed suit against us. We don’t get it… we complied before you even got around to wasting paper on us, and now you want to take away what few shekels we have.

In the 2 minute video clip, Fred Durst was quoted to say, “yeah… touch my balls and my ass.” Quote of the month anyone? Perhaps 8 Days can put that in their quotations section.

Poor Fred Durst is just so much famous now. His fifth album is coming out soon, his career would be undoubtly affect by this, but you never know, it may just be a good form of publicity. He believes someone hacked into his system and gotten hold of the sex video clip, and not the Paris Hilton T-mobile hack way. Paris Hilton apologizes to the fellow celebrities. Perhaps Fred Durst should too – for filming what Gawker would call “completely and utterly disheartening”.
