I sort of ended my run too. I planned to post 10 of these. I post every Friday until the there are 10. The feedback has been quite positive so far, but last week, I posted number 10.

So this week, there’s nothing. I decide to post some credits instead.

I listen to some Japanese songs, some of which have rather strange lyrics, so I posted them. I never did translations, I do not understand Japanese. I took lyric translations from fan pages etc. Sometimes, the web fails me and I ended up typing the lyrics out by copying the subtitles from the video clip.

The songs come from different sources, I shan’t talk much about it, lol. Some came from video clips. I use m&g Software’s AVI to WAV extractor 3.5 to extract out the sound from the video. [The software is free by the way.]

For song cropping, normalizing of volumes and fading in and out, I use either Ahead Nero Wave Editor or Sonic Foundry Sound Forge. Both are good programs, I use the latter more though.

Songs are encoded in Windows Media Audio 9 for smaller downloads at a quality loss. I use Microsoft Windows Media Encoder 9 Series to encode all my music. [This is a free software too.] Windows Media Audio sounds best at lower bit rates as compared to other formats.

Some posts include still image captures, these are captured by Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 Series. [This is another free software.] Images are later cropped or edited by Macromedia Fireworks. [Photoshop committed suicide, great..]

These are the past postings [Most of the music are removed already, sorry.]

# music//ichi [Ayumi Hamasaki - Real Me]
# music//ni [Yukino Satsuki - Densetsu no Onsen GAME (Legendary Hot-Springs Turtle)]
# music//san [NICEGUYJIN - Hai, Irasshai! It's from the soundtrack of Pita-ten.Related posts:

music//finish

chao//geng

needed//lesson

So it’s Friday again. As usual, I post some Japanese lyrics. It’s from an anime again, they just simply have very strange lyrics. This one has a catchy and _fun_ tune. This song is by Funta, titled *”Wake up Angel”*. It is also the opening theme for Pita-ten, an anime.

Funta is a two-person group, the female, UCO, does the vocals and the male, HIDE [I think] does the rest I suppose. Unfortunately, there aren’t much sites for Funta, not even Japanese one, let alone English. You can find their official website in Japanese onlyhere. I see lots of Qoo [beverage marketed byThe Coca-Cola Company] stuff there though.

The lyric translation is not full, just the part that appear in the anime’s opening theme. I cannot find any translations from the internet that I have to get the translation of the lyrics from the anime itself; I look at the screen and type the lyrics out! I got the translations from fan-subbed copy of Pita-ten by the good people of #Anime-Keep and #Animehaven from irc.enterthegame.com.

**Wake Up Angel ~ Negaimashite wa Mugen Nar i~ _[Wake Up Angel ~ Wishing for this is unlimited ~]_**

Ryouri hetakuso demo konbini de kacchaeba ii shii
_[Even if my cooking's really bad, I can still buy at a convenience store]_
Heya kitanakute mo itsumo ato mawashi
_[Even if my room gets dirty, I can always clean it later]_
Saihou dekinakutemo kore to itte komaranaishii
_[Even if I can't sew, I'm not worried about it]_
UFO mietemo maa ki ni shinaishi
_[Even if I see a UFO, I won't really worry]_
Shinai, Shinai
_[I won't, I won't]_

Keisan shite mo keiken shinakya
_[Even if I remember, I know I've experienced it]_
Zenbu wakaranai
_[I don't understand anything]_
Ai Mai Misu Yuu!
_[I My Miss You!]_
Ai suru koto to aisareru koto
_[To love something and to be loved]_
Negaimashite wa mugen nari
_[Wishing for this is unlimited]_
_
I wish “Hello, Wake up Angel”
_[I wish "Hello, Wake up Angel"]_
Mune no naka no tenshi yo mezamete!
_[Angel in my heart, please awaken!]_
I wish “Hello, I say ‘I love U’”
_[I wish "Hello, I say 'I love you'"]_
Daisuki yo zutto
_[I love you forever]_
I wish “Hello! Merci chao I love you!!”
_[I wish "Hello! Merci chao I love you!!"]_
Sukoshi furimukaite nee!
_[Turn this way for a bit!]_

Translated by #Anime-Keep and #Animehaven @ irc.enterthegame.com

I have encoded *1min 21sec* sample in WMA file proprietary _(Windows Media Audio 9, 16 kbps, 16 kHz, stereo 2-pass CBR)_ for you people.

Download the sample from here _(172 KB)_. [Download has been removed.]

It’s really worth listening, plus it’s a cute song too. I mean which other song starts with _”Even if my cooking’s really bad, I can still buy at a convenience store”_! I can’t cook so I have to pay heed to Funta’s advice. I encoded _1min 21sec_ unlikely previously, just _38sec_ too.

It has nonsensical lyrics, _”zenbu wakaranai”_ [I don't understand anything]. I don’t understand why she’s wishing _”Hello, Wake up Angel”, “Hello, I say ‘I love you’” and “Hello! Merci chao I love you!!”_. And what’s “Merci chao”? I am quite sure it’s not a character name.

It’s from the anime Pita-ten, which is about an elementary school boy whose life is being invaded by his new junior school female neighbor,Misha. It isn’t long after that he dreamt flying above Tokyo city with Misha. But is it just a dream?

What better an opening theme than a crazy one for an equally crazy anime. It’s comedy _su~_. [Misha likes to suffix her sentences with "su".]

I found this link through Hailey’s blog. It’s about common words being used in year 2003. Comes with top ten charts too, lol. Check it out, interesting stuff.

Related posts:

music//finish

chao//geng

needed//lesson
