Yeah, I am aware this is not the first Conan video today. I just love watching his show! Pity he’s not in Singapore, perhaps MediaCorp Singapore can import it or something?
Conan O’Brien visits (raids) the Intel headquarters in Santa Clara. He did so to thank them for sponsoring his show and find Intel to be a rather controlling company.
The whole place is like a school campus and a boring working place. The carpark labels at the office is just so wrong! So lifeless and sad but I’m sure those guys in the fabrication department is having more fun. The place looks good generally, more color would definately cheer the guys up. Oh of course, not forgeting the Hungry Hungry Hippos game.
Apple showcases iPhone and everybody’s wowing at it. Is it really that good? No one can really determine it at the moment but it seems rather feature packed.
And Conan thinks so too. Look at the many things you can do with your new iPhone.

Ellen DeGeneres has been set to host the 79th Academy Awards telecast, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. It will be DeGeneres’ first time as Oscar® host, as well as her first appearance on an Academy Awards telecast.
“Ellen DeGeneres was born to host the Academy Awards,” said Ziskin. “There is no more challenging hosting job in show business. It requires someone who can keep the show alive and fresh and moving, as well as someone who is a flat-out great entertainer. Ellen completely fits the bill. I can already tell she is going to set the bar very high for herself and therefore for all of us involved in putting on the show. Now all we need is a lot of great movies.”
“When Laura Ziskin called, I was thrilled,” said DeGeneres. “There’s two things I’ve always wanted to do in my life. One is to host the Oscars. The second is to get a call from Laura Ziskin. You can imagine that day’s diary entry.”

It’s a first time for DeGeneres. I thought they lack hosts so much that they might just bring Conan O’brien back another round. Asides from being a lesbian, DeGeneres is also a talk show host and a fish (Dory in Finding Nemo). Ellen DeGeneres: “I ask people why they have deer heads on their walls. They always say because it’s such a beautiful animal. There you go. I think my mother is attractive, but I have photographs of her.”
