drier//hands

Uncategorized

I just thought of something before I go to the toilet - I shall not try my hands this time. These are my usual ritual when entering the toilet at my workplace.

# Open the toilet door and walk towards the urinal.
# Unzip and relieve.
# Zip and wash my hands.
# *Dry my hands with the hand dryer.*

Now, here is the problem. I dry my hands with the hand dryer and now it feels clean and dry. Now, all I need to do is to get out of the nice little rest room. I walk to the door, pulled the handle and - damn it - the god damn handle is wet! Now I don’t dry my hands any more..

  1. (laughing hysterically)

Sometimes after church my family goes out for lunch.I always go to the bathroom to wash my hands first. After I dry my hands I usually grab a bunch of paper towels, cover one hand with them, and open the door, then hold the door open with my foot(in heels and a very long skirt) and throw the paper towels away. It’s a big waste of trees,I look incredibly stupid doing it and most of the time I never make that trashcan that’s like 3 feet away from me(horrible coordination skills). Not to mention nearly falling flat on my face from just standing on one foot, lol. You can try this technique but you might get some weird looks. :0)

  2. aurora_starfire: Nothing beats tradition - now I just wipe my hands on my pants. Saves trees, saves embarassment, dry hands (just that they aren’t as clean as before, lol).

  3. hey, my workplace needs a security pass to go to the toilet. I went toilet and tried to go out back to my desk. I can’t. It’s locked!

I get stuck there until someone comes and open the door to go toilet. Stupid system…

this is what I often do:
after releasing, i open the door, with one leg keeping it open, and then wash my hands.
I used to wash it twice. =P

  5. sky: My workplace needs that too. And if you forget to bring your pass you either call your colleague and cry for help or you call the security to cry for help. I haven’t encounter such a problem though. I almost gotten trapped. I realized I forgotten my pass and immediately hold the door before it shuts and walk back to take my pass.

It’s part of the security system. It doesn’t quite make sense though. I’ll learn to live with it, hahaa..

Heather: I just dry on my pants now, hahaa..

  9. aurora_starfire: Today I can’t even go to the toilet. It’s 10 minutes more and I’m leaving for lunch. I forgot to bring my pass and can’t get it after I leave. Damn it.

  10. [...] My foot! The story is not completed. Then you have to get out of the toilet and you put your hand on the door handle to open the toilet and your hands are dirty again! And if you had previously dried your hand, the handle may be wet too. It probably defeats the purpose of so many automatic equipment in the toilet! [...]
