I must confess that i once told my 6yr old daughter that some of the raindeer had fallen ill this year and might not be able to make it for christmas eve. On the deliverance of this news, as expected, she broke down and sobbed. I was quite upset myself that i had made her feel this way. So the next day i came up with a plan! I wrote a note from santa to my daughter and explained that dispite some of the raindeer being ill, would not stop me making the journey from lapland as i would be able to obtain the services of a good van hire company.
