I am a Dutchman and live in Holland. In our country there are laws regarding the kind of names that people can give their children. In Holland you cannot call your child tulip or football or Satan or windmill. I am sure that in all countries there must be laws that tell the people what names they can choose for their children. I am also sure that there are no countries where you may give your child the name God.

nice blog

Two comments:

2 God is not a proper name. The word god is used in many (perhaps in all) religions to refer to the being that created the world. The word is also used for beings that live in another world than ours: a heaven of some sort.

The Christian Bible reveals to us that the name of the being that the Christians call God is JHWH (Jahweh or Jehovah)
