I happen to think that 7 is the perfect number for viewing blog entries. Not too much, not too little. I can’t stand it when some blogs have like 20 posts per page. That said, I actually prefer RSS feeds to offer 20.

Well, today on odd world, there’s a Japanese man calling toll-free line to hear woman’s voice and yes it’s automated. Kinda sad in a way but it somehow suggests how easily contented this man can be. Just listening to a voice only?
Japan man stalks toll-free line to hear woman’s voice
TOKYO (Reuters) - A Japanese man was arrested for calling a food company’s toll-free number 500 times in 16 months because he wanted to hear the woman’s voice on the automated tape, police said on Monday.
The 38-year-old plumber, who was arrested on Sunday, made 3,100 hours worth of free calls to the company, costing it almost 4 million yen (19,500 pounds) in phone bills, a police spokesman in Takasaki, northwest of Tokyo, said.
“He gets excited by the woman’s voice on the guidance tape,” the spokesman said, adding that the voice sounded normal to the detective who was involved in the investigation.
The food company asked for its name to be withheld. The spokesman said police are investigating if the man placed an excessive number of calls to any other firms.

Claimed by herself to be the most hated person in Akiba, Asuka Sawamoto (30 yrs old) was arrested in suspicion of violating a ‘prevention of nuisance law’. Sawamoto has appeared in Akiba since last year doing live performances and showing off her buttocks and crotch to gather a crowd before distributing flyers for her live events. She climbs up the railing and lifts up her leg during these photo-taking sessions, catering to the so-called low anglers, or cameraman who has a preference of taking pictures from a low angle. The police has a problem with her gathering a crowd around her and has warned her many times to no avail. Many bloggers including Akibablog’s Mr Geek suspects that Sawamoto was asked to show off her buttocks by the TV station and indeed the TV stations have caught ample footages of her, with the reporter and the commentators strongly condemning her actions.
