Earlier this evening Bill Gates gave his final Microsoft keynote at the 2008 CES show in Las Vegas. Throughout the keynote he made many references to what he will do with his free time once he retires from day to day operations at Microsoft. It turns out, Bill has big plans in addition to his foundation after all.
Bill Gates Last Day CES Clip
He seems like such a loser in the video. He’s probably a little stiff in the film but the short film works out right and all the cameos made me laughed. There’s Bono, Obama, Al Gore, Jon Stewart and others. Looks like he’s having fun.

It’s a little disrespectful for you to call him a loser. He’s being a good sport to make fun of himself like that.
That’s the first time I see a digg article with not many flaming him.
Gonna miss him.
by uzyn (Jan 7, 2008 at 8 PM)Ahh, should have included a disclaimer, lol… What I meant is he, intentionally, acts as a loser in the video. It’s fun watching him being rejected again and again and everyone just trying to entertain him. And he’s a great sport in participating in the video. Anybody who says bad things about him all got dugg down I think.
by Mr. Dew (Jan 8, 2008 at 2 AM)I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, it doesn’t matter what you think of Bono. He was awesome in the video. But the whole thing in itself was quite fantastic. “Russell Crowe”–”Bill Clinton?”–”No, it isn’t an… inconvenient time…”
Sure, it’s easy to disagree with so much of what Microsoft does, but I think it’s also not hard to see why Bill Gates is such an important figure in our world, and also one of the greatest geeks of all time. And, on top of that, I hope he finds even greater success with the Gates Foundation post-Microsoft.
We’re going to miss ya’, Billy G.
