Hmmmp, I don’t think I would want to volunteer for those magic tricks. You won’t know if it’s going to be dangerous. They can make you feel relaxed and all but it does not fully eliminate the possibility of getting hurt as the following video illustrates.
Sometimes magic tricks go wrong
Humans make mistakes. Magicians are human. Well, you get my point.

Wow, oooouch! I wouldn’t like to be in this magician’s shoes (and neither in her shoes) !

Yes, nobody is perfect and things can go wrong, but in the second case the magician failed twice: trick that goes wrong is forgivable however if he knew there was even a minuscule chance to fail and physically hurt a volunteer he should not have taken that risk. And secondly, he failed to appologize properly. I wonder if she sued him.
by Leslie the How To Do Magic Tricks Explorer (Dec 18, 2007 at 7 PM)Oh, I can pretty much garauntee that there will be a lawsuit involved. Thats exactly the reason I don’t perform them kind of effects. Really, it’s pretty risky even performing the effect on ones self…Extremely, stupid using a volunteer from the audience. Where was this mans common sense!! His career is probably over or at least severly damaged. “You can perform 10000 shows but it’s the one show that they will always remember!” Do yourself a favor “Stay away from this sort of magic!”
