and now with wikiscanner, they can actually tell who’s been making changes.

working in the PR industry, i can say that some people have actually tried to smudge facts to make them look prettier. changing facts is important if they’re wrong, but changing facts into semi-fiction, its not very professional.

in theory, wikipedia works.. people working for the common good.

but common good hasn’t exactly been working out for us either.

well, i suppose half-facts are better than non-facts. -)

I won’t say that it is unreliable. But i think it is subjected to abuse. They will clean it up shortly. No worries.
