It was presented during Nokia’s GoPlay event this morning as a glimpse into the future of Nokia interface design. I shan’t call it copying iPhone since the only thing that’s remotely similar is actually the touch-screen. Apple didn’t invent touch-screen too.

Sorry Nokia, that made me laughed. Nokia, in my opinion, has never made things elegantly simple. Simple - yes. Elegantly simple - not really. We really have to thank Nokia for giving us the easy-to-use interfaces back in the late 1990s. But the other companies have caught up on that already. It’s time to reinovate on the user interface. Nokia did well in their iPhone equivalent, let’s hope for this to be rolled out in the market.
Nokia also needs to work harder to continue to appeal to the younger crowd. Companies like Samsung and Sony Ericsson are very good here.
But hey, if it’s good (and slim), I might just might trade in my Samsung U600 for this one day.
