Test how fast your website loads!

Uncategorized

You can have a good representation of how each of the components in your website loads. It’s pretty cool and quite user-friendly too! //beconfused loads kinda slow I think.

The Full Page Test loads a given HTML page, including images, CSS, JavaScripts, RSS, Flash and frames/iframes. In this way, the Pingdom tool mimics the way a page is loaded in your browser.

  1. Yeah, compared to non-Asian websites your beconfused blog loads slow, but compared to other Asian websites it’s hellish fast.

Try to access to certain websites from Asia from over here, Opera will count the speed backwards with ‘-’ in front and then websites just stop loading. Remember that Flash animation you once had to send me because of that.

  2. Nafcom: That’s because I chose to host //beconfused in the States. I have more visitors from North America and Europe countries. //beconfused is hosted in a Savvis data center somewhere in Massachusetts, U.S.A.

Unfortunately //beconfused isn’t really fast in Asia regions so I view my page quite slowly, lol… It doesn’t really matter though.
