Gmail upgrades attachment limit to 20 MB

Uncategorized

Google’s Gmail has been updates to allow bigger file attachments, 20 MB that is. I never had to send such huge files through Gmail but it is always good to hear of an upgrade.

The little problem is that most email providers don’t support incoming mail with such big attachments making Gmail rather lonely. Basically Gmail people would just be happy sending the 20 MB to their fellow Gmail friends. Perhaps other companies would move to 20 MB soon.

But really, what’s cooler is that – at Yahoo! Mail, there is no storage meter! Archive as much as you want now. Yahoo! is being really generous. Are you listening Microsoft?
