13 little things that make a geek happy

Uncategorized

For the most part, it does not take much to make a geek’s day!

For me, it’s rather simple.

5 little things that would make me say yay

  1. The moment there is a price drop in any computer parts. I’m such a cheapskate, hehee…
  2. When I have an actual comment. Yeah, a real comment is not one that tells me about Viagra and anal sex.
  3. When I can get rid of all the tabs on my Opera browser. I open a lot of tabs and do not close them until I finish the whole task. Sometimes a particular website can be opened for a couple of weeks.
  4. Checking my statistics. Well, that usually make my day. I’m just happy to look at numbers I guess.
  5. When something related to the software I use comes up. I get excited over developments of Windows Live Messenger, Opera, WordPress, Adobe products and Windows Vista.

  1. hehe, I hope this comment puts you in a good mood :)

I’m definetely a geek too because I can identify with all of these (except 4, because I decided to never check my stats a few years ago). And I also have a solution to 3, I used to be owned by tabs until I decided to really go through my RSS feeds and kill off half the list, things I rarely checked or wasn’t superly interested in..

number 5 is the best (I’ll add apple stuff to the list tho)!

  2. That blog post entry could have been written 100% by me! Maybe we are family related? :D

  3. That makes us all geeks. I don’t know if I am proud of it. The guys in camp have been calling me Freaks and Geeks just because I frequent technology websites and am able to name a lot of Adobe and Microsoft products and their rough history.
