I know I’m a little late but Happy Lunar New Year! æ?°å¹´å¿«ä¹Âï¼Â
I wasn’t really free the past couple of days. I was having duty in camp during Day 1 and Day 3. It was a little demoralizing but not too bad. We need to be prepared just in case of some disaster that may occur during Chinese New Year. And when such an event occurs, we move out as soon as we can. [Yay, 109 Days left!]
This year’s Lunar New Year I only visited my cousin’s place and no where else. I went there and announced that their house is the first place I visited and likely the last place too.
My mother helped me collect the 红å?? (red packets) though. I’ve gotten some extra cash, not too bad I guess. The Chief of Signals gave me a Toto ticket (which he claims worth 650k) and I was fumbling with the remote at my cousin’s to check if I actually won something. I have 4 sets of 6 numbers, a total of 24 numbers. I scanned the Teletext screen hard and crushed the lottery ticket.
I see not even one number that appear on my ticket; out of 24 numbers, not 1 is similar… Am I lucky or what? Maybe they should hand me a consolation prize or something.
Anyway… æ?°å¹´å¿«ä¹Âï¼?ä¸?äº?å¦?æ?Âï¼ (I don’t really know how to translate that. It’s something like happy new year and may your wishes come true.)
