Many web applications have advertisements, even though Live Messenger is not a web application, I got kinda used to it. Plus the advertisements are not intrusive in my opinion. And the file size. It's a sad case. With every new release, the file size increase. In fact it has increased till it is larger than Windows Media Player 11 beta. I can't imagine what they put in to make it such a big download. I probably guess it's the calling and videoing functions. I'd rate Windows Live Messenger 4 out of 5 stars.
