Okay, I’m migrating //beconfused for real. It is undergoing migration now. I think I have migrated most of my stuff already.
Notes:
* //beconfused has functionalities reduced at the moment, my web host provider complained that my site grew too big for them to support. That’s ridiculous I think. It hasn’t grown too big yet. I am packing and moving anyway. My web host recommends me to get a dedicated server. Okay, come on, you know my blog doesn’t require a dedicated server.
* I have migrated quietly at May 27, 2006, at 11 am. There should not be any down time at all.
* Comments may be lost during the migration.
* I’m migrating from SurpassHosting to ICDSoft’s SAAVIS servers which is located in the United States. The whole migration takes about 2 days due to DNS propagation, basically beconfused.com is pointed to SurpassHosting’s servers and time is required to update all the servers that the new web site is now at ICDSoft’s.
I paid my bills. The problem is that they told me my website is having too much MySQL connections that it affects their other users. It makes little sense to me but I didn’t want to got through this again. It’s too troublesome. I exchanged emails and waited. The whole process takes too long. I’ll just pay US$0.42 cents more per month and leave SurpassHostings. Those guys are great, but the whole dedicated server thing… Well, there is no way I can afford. I’ll post more about it after I fully migrate.
