Singapore Idol is returning! I’m quite excited about the auditions. I know it’s sadistic but that really is the highlight of watching reality shows. Okay, maybe this isn’t exactly a reality show. But it has the essense of one, they show people crying, screaming and doing horrible things to impress the judges.
Back then, Steven Lim tried to impress the judges with his sickening dance. It was then I swear I will never watch an episode of Singapore Idol again. But really, it’s what that makes Singapore Idol interesting.
I now realize I fall into a category of audience that just like to watch others at their worst. I did so rather unconciously, I just laugh and laugh for a couple of hours and then start to feel ashame of myself. It kinda goes against my principles to not look down on people.
See, even American Idol came out with American Idol – The Best & Worst of American Idol. The worst part include William Hung and likes.
Of course there are good singers in Singapore Idol. But, really, do you have to watch Singapore Idol for good singers? There are plenty already, and I like good singers. I just like bad ones too.

Mr Dew: Very funny. =)
I saw, you are using Technorati tags now, great!
by Nafcom (May 16, 2006 at 7 AM)The next will be nice images cliackable to full screen hosted on http://www.imageshack.ws, deal? =)
Yes, I’m using Technorati, I’m improving certain portions of //beconfused. The image clickables will turn some time. I’m not going to use Imageshack though. I don’t like it when I don’t have control over the pictures. I’ll still be hosting them localling but I plan to some forums from using my bandwidth to display my blog’s images. People in MySpace are displaying my images too. And I know it, these are the actual reason why my bandwidth is so high.
I’ll start banning two forums and MySpace as they use most of my bandwidth. More than the bandwidth to power my blog with my images!
by Mr. Dew (May 17, 2006 at 1 PM)Mr Dew: Wow, that is heavy! Yes, I hope that will help it.
I can understand how you mean it with losing control.
I also have no control about the pictures I hosted in the blog posts of blogger.
Looking forward to the orginal sizes pics!
by Nafcom (May 17, 2006 at 8 PM)Yeah, once I start posting the images to another site, it becomes hard to remove, rename, resize and links may be broken if their servers are down.
The main culprit is MySpace by the way. Lots of people post images up to their profiles. I try to watermark things adding a //beconfused logo on most of my pictures. It does stop people a little but it doesn’t have much effect.
by Mr. Dew (May 18, 2006 at 12 PM)Mr Dew: ImageShack never been down since ages now
by Nafcom (May 19, 2006 at 12 AM)Nafcom: That’s not true actually. I encountered it. Anyway, your wish has been granted. It’s a temporary solution. I’ll integrate this solution much more in my next layout.
You can click on the newer images to enlarge. You can try one of the image to enlarge.
by Mr. Dew (May 19, 2006 at 2 AM)Mr Dew: Weird, I never encountered it.
The image enlargment function is great! Well done!!!!
WOW! =) Thanks!
by Nafcom (May 19, 2006 at 7 AM)Nafcom: Most welcome! The image enlargement feature has a little problem though. To use it, you have to wait for the whole page to finish loading.
by Mr. Dew (May 19, 2006 at 10 AM)Mr Dew: Isn’t a problem with broadband internet
by Nafcom (May 19, 2006 at 7 PM)True, hahaa… It’s not really a problem for me too. But sometimes the loading does gets stuck now and then. How fast is your broadband speed?
