amazon//live

It seems that Amazon’s search page A9 has stopped using Google as their preferred search engine.

Powered by Windows Live

They’ve switched to using Live for their search. I can’t find any official announcement for it. Perhaps they just got bored of Google.

It’s certainly a tiny victory for the Live team at Microsoft. There’s always a first step. I use A9 quite often actually. I think Live’s results have been getting considerably better already.

  4. Who uses A9 though? lol I think i used it once, and I doubt downgrading from google results would change that.
    p.s It’s great to have a focus (although I wouldn’t know)

  6. Yup, I use A9 too. I think Microsoft had some sort of agreement with Amazon and Amazon switched.
