I never thought Live would do this to me. It didn’t support Firefox and Opera. Windows Live Shopping, at present, only supports Internet Explorer. So I can’t view with Opera.

You guys should go test it out with Internet Explorer. It was a pleasant experience for me and it’s really quite revolutionary way of shopping with AJAX technologies. Please try it out, I’m starting not to like Amazon.com already.
Visit Windows Live Shopping. I think Microsoft got it right with this one. Great work!

It even says my Opera is a Firefox, lol.
by Nafcom (Apr 30, 2006 at 9 AM)Did you switch to Opera? sounds like it!
I did make a switch. I use a few browsers and is loyal to none I think. I like Opera for remember all the tabs and restore it back to how it’s like the next time I launch it.
My friend tells me I can do the same with Firefox using an extension I think. But heck, I don’t bother, it works for me so I use Opera. I use Internet Explorer as my default browser still as there are still a number of sites I visit that are not compatible with Opera. They look well or perhaps better with Firefox but I am not too much of a fan to Firefox somehow.
But yes, Opera is a primary browser of choice but it is just not my default browser. I use Opera 90% of the time.

Opera can do this all without extenstions. And Opera always had its own way of making extensions: The Opera Panels.
Now it git widgets so one can expand it even more.
What I also love is the included email client and the bitorrent download manager.
And if some website does not work right, I send a site report to Opera or ask the webmaster to fix it!
by Nafcom (Apr 30, 2006 at 10 PM)Well, I am not a fan of the Bittorrent download manager. It’s too slow for me. I would recommend you uTorrent instead.
As for an email client, I prefer to use Webmail and I use Live Mail and Gmail. Because I tend to be not at home and in the office or something.
The problem with asking Opera or the webmaster to fix it is that it takes time. So I usually would just fire up an alternate browser and start using the site, hahaa… Still, Opera displays most of the pages right. But I find Firefox to be more consistent. Internet Explorer is still tops for a lot of blogs.
by Mr. Dew (May 1, 2006 at 12 AM)Mr Dew: I am not downloading any big/illegal stuff, so the internal BitTorrent download manager is fine for me!
Well, Firefox uses also the internet explorer rendering if you set it this way, maybe that’s why
by Nafcom (May 2, 2006 at 12 AM)I didn’t set Firefox to render the Internet Explorer way. But a number of technology blogs are built with Firefox and Internet Explorer in mind only.
I download anime and their are usually quite big, hahaa…
