I just had the best dream in my life in the year. I went to find the medical officer and I was given 2 full weeks of ATT C.
Army terminology of the week
- ATT C – Full form is Attend C or something. It basically refers to the physical condition of a military personnel. Attend C would mean that the person is unfit for all physical activities and can go home and rest.
- ATT B – This isn’t too bad too. If you get Attend B, you are fit for certain physical activities. You usually get this if you have a sore throat or something.
- ATT A – If you go to the medical centre and return with this status, it is probably not a good thing. Attend A is given to personnel who are fit and can continue with their physical training. Well… If you find yourself visiting the medical centre, you’re probably unwell in one way or another, so it is generally not a good news.
And I woke up from my dream feeling so happy. It is the best dream I had as far as I remember. It just feels so good to get ATT C, it is equivalent to an MC (medical certificate) allowing you to not go to work or school. And of course ATT C allows you to stay at home and rest.
I want to stay home so badly… Dreams don’t come true that often unfortunately. I gotten ATT C once only.
