I’ve been looking at screenshots of Office 2007. It looks fresh and dynamic to me. Wait till you see the video of it.

Oh man, I’m already looking forward to Office 2007, more than Windows Vista now perhaps. The whole redesign thing should have came earlier in fact. I always thought Office is one product with many features that is well hidden and everytime I use it, I seem to have dig out something new.

Screenshots are a great way for users to get a glimpse of upcoming products. The problem is that screenshots don’t really show how the product runs, just how it looks. Luckily, Microsoft has released some new Office 2007 footage so that users don’t have to form opinions based on screenshots any longer.

I saw Cockroach’s result slips and I was quite jealous of it. He did pretty well in my opinion especially in terms of class ranking. Well, my school results… Let’s just say that they aren’t really the thing I am proud of. My parents weren’t pleased with my results. They (the results of course) kinda sucked.

I wasn’t good in many subject. Take a look at my results and you’ll probably figure that I’m below average.

I am consistently lousy in Chinese language. My English is crap even though I’m at position 8 as my reading is the one that saved me – I can’t write English, but I can read them all out to you.

And my geography… I made good pals at the geography remedial class with the 2 fellows who fail too – and guess what – we sit side by side.

I never really undertstood Mathematics, I got good results sometimes and lousy ones on other times. Before I entered secondary 4, my Additional Mathematics’ results was 29/100, that would be a miserable F and I almost got kicked out of the class. Physics and Chemistry was nothing worth mentioning too.

And I brought the same result slip you see back home. Note the positions in my class. I got scolded quite badly and my mother thought – and still think – that I am a bad student. She tells me to do better and play less computer games. I don’t know why she has an impression that I was playing games anyway.

There’s nothing great about my conduct too, my teacher finds everyone okay and give a good remark. In the end, I graduated from secondary 4 with L1R4 score of 12, L1R5 score of 15 and entered a polytechnic which I later didn’t do too well.

It tastes a little different from the other burgers. Itâ??s got cheese, onions, tomatoes, two layers of beef patty, bacon and guacamole sauce which is made from avocados.

Altavista Founder Dies

Flaherty died March 16 of a heart attack at his home in Belmont, Calif., about 20 miles south of San Francisco, family members said Friday.

It’s kinda sad if you point your browser to Altavista.com for some sort of information regarding the founder. They apparrently made no mention of Flaherty’s death.

Altavista was my favorite search engine back then when it was still under Compaq. It was still pretty good, back then it was Yahoo! and Altavista for me. It’s sad to see Altavista’s condition right now. (As of now, Altavista is part of Overture, which is now part of Yahoo!.)

Translation

This is my first post in Chinese language, it feels strange to type in Chinese. My Chinese language isn’t good, so please pardon me.

While I was returning from camp yesterday, I met this friend of mine. He was holding this piece of rubbish from one trash bin to the next. He just simply refuses to dispose his piece of rubbish.

Me: Hey, why are you holding on to the rubbish since trash bin number 1?
Him: Because there is nothing in the trash bin and if I were to throw the rubbish now, it just troubles the cleaner to clear the trash bin.
Me: But if you don’t put it into the trash bin, someone else probably would, hahaa…
Him: That’s okay, so long as I do my part.

I was stunned for a while, then somewhat guilty. That sure shut me up. If everyone’s like him, perhaps the world would be a better place. But then again, if everyone’s like him, all the cleaners would probably go out of job!

[Note that I won't be posting in Chinese language much as I took 20 times longer to post in Mandarin as opposed to just typing it out in English. Plus my broken Chinese (æ?­æ??ç??中æ??�?) is kinda embarassing to showcase.]
