I have a question.
Teenager fined £80 for swear word
A teenager is refusing to pay an £80 on-the-spot fine imposed by a police officer who overheard him swearing in a private conversation with friends.
Kurt Walker, 18, from Deal, Kent, said he would go to court rather than pay the fine handed out in a town park.
He said he received the fixed-penalty notice after he used the F-word to a group of friends he met in the park.

(Baby points middle finger. Censored already so please don’t fine me.)
And so… Can someone clears my doubt – is swearing with the F-word illegal? And if it is, can you report people who scold the F-word in Singapore?
[Sorry, I just thought we can fine half of the people serving national service.]
[By the way, the categories 'Science & Technology' has been splitted into separate categories 'Science' and 'Technology'. And also, the category 'Entertainment' has been split in 'Games', 'Anime', 'Music' and 'Movies'. Hopefully this would be a better way of categorizing. So the categories 'Science & Technology' and 'Entertainment' are removed from my category list.]

by rosie (Oct 19, 2006 at 3 AM)rosie: There is no reason you should fucking get upset with this. And fuck it, I’m not going to arrest you too. I often wonder if it is actually illegal to scold that in Singapore. I kinda have a feeling it’s illegal, but it’s like jaywalking – no one cares basically. Any lawyers in Singapore to clarify this?
