through//glass

Uncategorized

I love watching these magic shows in the past. And then I’ll start to think how is this trick possible; could it be that they…? Well, there are just sometimes when the tricks get so sophisticated that I simply can’t think of anyway that the trick may work. It’s just amazing. And the following is one of those.

Watch the magic trick.

It’s a magic trick starting with a simple coin-through-the-glass trick. And then it gets better.

  4. i’m not amazed by the coin trick, but the following with the candle holder, it does baffled me!!

i once saw a trick whereby the magician took out a burger from a Mac’s menu, took a bite, place the burger back into the menu.
when he took out the burger, the picture turned totally white, blank. then after when he place the burger back with a bite, the menu showed the bitten burger!

    Fascinating, isn’t it?

  5. GeckoZ: Yeah, the candle really amazed me too. And the idea of performing magic off stage is much more convincing. It’s as if they are no props involved (perhaps there really aren’t any).

The Burger trick’s really cool it seems. Where did you see that?

  6. If you could see the props, then it isn’t magic already. Haha! I was in a magic club before, somehow, I think I knew how the coin travelled across.

i can’t actually remembers where I saw that clip. From YouTube most likely. And it’s also an offstage performance, in Japan.

  7. GeckoZ: What I meant by props are those supporting equipment and stuff. You know how the coin travel across? Wow… I can’t figure that out. I watch people perform magic and always wonder how they did those tricks but never bother to went far enough to get the answers, lol…

  8. The coin probably did not pass through. there were two coins =)
I knew a pulling-a-coin-out-of-thin-air trick. The same pattern was probably used here. Hahaha!

  9. GeckoZ: Hmmmp… That’s a possibility. Why didn’t I think of that, lol

  10. I love watching magic acts from the past perform. Has anyone caught the collecting magic bug? It can be very addictive, but finding those hard to find treasures is certainly fun. I’m currently seeking classic MAK or UF Grant magic props if anyone has any they want to sell.
