(Biopolis Matrix Building, the building that I work at for my internship.)
This morning when I walk towards my work place, I decided to snap a picture of how my building look like. In my opinion, it is the nicest looking building in Biopolis, lol
I work for Bioinformatics Institute as my internship which is part of my polytechnic (Singapore Polytechnic) requirement. Bioinformatics Institute is located in the Matrix building and when I first got there I can’t find where Bioinformatics Institute is. It turns out that it is in Matrix itself and it is not clearly labeled that Bioinformatics Institute is in Matrix.
Pecilius and Shawn are working at the building in the background, the brown one. They work in Genome Institute of Singapore and their building is cleverly labeled ‘Genome’. Well, at least theirs made more sense.
that is so cool!
I love modern architecture.
I think we have a couple of bank buildings that look like that.
aurora_starfire: I like it too, it’s a nice building
Dude, you don’t wanna talk about anything related to your job here man. I fear it will do you no good. I’m only looking out for you, dude. You don’t want this to happen to you like it did to Ellen.
Event Horizon: Thanks for reminding. I am kinda aware about it. I am quite careful too. I don’t want to be a dooce and Mark Jen or any other. I am staying there for another 2 months. I hope nothing goes wrong. There won’t be much more of work related posts, hahaa..
I read about that lady…she should sue. That’s invasion of privacy if you think about it.You have nothing to worry about because you usually write good things about your job.
:0)
aurora_starfire: Oh, Ellen ‘Flight Attendent’ Simonetti. Okay. Well, she says it started of as a therapy. That’s a good way. But she should be more aware of a limit to therapy. Well, I write good things about my job, but I do write bad ones too. Mark Jen, ex-employee of Google, wrote that Google’s healthcare benefits sucks or something and that Microsoft offers better ones. He got fired. And believe it or not, most of his posts are praising Google here and there.
