I am home today. It wasn’t that a great thing though. Last Sunday, I had some guard duty to perform. Basically I have to prowl for 2 hours and then rest for 2 hours. This cycles continue through the 24 hours; meaning that I have 6 sessions to prowl if your mathematics is as good as mine.
Due to the constantly interrupted sleep, I wasn’t able to really rest well enough. That resulted in migraines and all sorts of uncomfortable moments in the lecture room.
That’s why, on Tuesday morning, I simply can’t take it anymore. I reported sick. I had a fever and it reaches 38.2 I think. Wasn’t really feeling very well I guess. I got to stay home for 2 days, i.e. yesterday and today.
So I’m home today. I feel quite drowsy due to the medicine I ate though. But I’m getting better. It’s nice to take a short “leave” from my course though. It makes a good break for me.
Later I still have to take an online quiz but that’s really okay. In the end, I’m quite happy to return home to rest. It feels good to be at home. ![]()
