It'd be too painful to carry too heavy stuff. Also, I hate this running around kinda thing. yongkian: I would say yes, almost every man has to go through this. However, if you are lucky enough (or perhaps some would think it as not as lucky), you go to a vocation straight away. You would however lose a chance to go into leadership vocations. BMT is quite easy to go through I suppose, just relax and watch the days pass. The key thing in BMT is to develop good relationships with your platoon mates and sergeants as quickly as possible. It's the power of networking, hahaa... If you know your platoon mates well enough, life is really more fun there. The more interesting will be to find out where you will be posted after BMT. That's where most of your memories of NS will be. But from the looks of it, you are unlikely to get the "charge-up-the-hill" kinda vocation due to your medical condition.
