Not the same problems, but alot of times when I was in the middle of my work or something the server (both ftp and web) would keep timing out or load incredibly slowly. So I complained, and they switched my site to a newer less populated server (along with the nameservers) and then all was good. You should try it my surpass site was also acting really sucky.
