Okay, every day I’ll go around reading blogs. And every day, I’ll at least find a blog blogging about Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. So, I will blog about Star Wars too. That is the movie I actually wanted to watch. I drag and drag and in the end, I didn’t get to watch this movie.

Anakin Skywalker makes an attempt to kill Coca Cola's Qoo with his lightsaber. Qoo is sweating as he is worried. Picture from Cheers in Cineleisure, Singapore.

I see a lot of promotions for this film and I got somehow excited over that. Well, in the end, I didn’t get to catch it.

Burger King came out with The BK Galactic Burger - Chicken Galactic Burger and Beef Galactic Burger. May the burgers be with you.

I watched the first 2 episodes and the last 3 episodes. I don’t think I remember much anyway. Now when I think of it, it’s okay that I give this movie a miss despite it’s many promotions.

Next time, I’ll get the DVDs when it’s released. I’ll rent I think. I don’t have that much money to buy the whole set.

And the burger! I saw Burger King’s Galactic Burger. Frankly speaking, it looks stupid. And it doesn’t look nice at all. Look at the stars in the burger. They are made of potatoes I think. Something made me want to try explore the dark side and try the Beef Galactic Burger - the one Darth Vader likes.

Last week, I actually went to Burger King to ask for that burger but the auntie (50 year old lady at the cash register) told me it’s not ready yet and recommended me to try the Whopper Juniors instead. I told her I came special to try Darth Vader’s Beef Galactic Burger.

I won’t be trying the burger too. That’s okay though. No Star Wars movie; no Star Wars burger. That’s alright, I’ll live with it. At least I tried the Star Wars M&M’s(r).

  1. It’s a pity you didn’t get to watch the 3rd episode. It’s really sad to see Anakin turning into Darth Vader. And yay!! I have eaten the M&Ms too. It’s a ploy to get us to sin, because we are all so crazy over Star Wars we want to know which side we would end up at. xD

Well, although I did not manage to watch Star Wars in the end, I did watch a movie called Swing Girls (Japan).

I can’t help but to make comparisons with movies like Sister Act and Waterboys. In fact, Swing Girls is like Sister Act and Waterboy…

  4. I’m so not into Star Wars and will not see the movie. But it’s hard to get away from all the advertising. I’ve already had Star Wars Skittles and Star Wars Cheez-its. I’m glad this is the last Star Wars movie; I’m tired of the advertisements.

  5. Star Wars Cheez-its?! I didn’t get to see that around, damn it. I know what you mean. The ads are crazy. I see breakfast cereals, Burger King, M&Ms, mobile phone plans, it’s just everywhere.
