I have been away for 2 days and I stayed overnight. I just return from an island called Sentosa. Singapore is an island itself but this doesn’t stop Singaporeans from visiting its smaller islands such as Sentosa.

The Musical Fountain in Sentosa is perhaps one of the best features of Sentosa. I like that one a lot. If you guys ever go to Singapore for a visit and intend to visit the currently-lousy Sentosa island, please to check out the Musical Fountain to reclaim your “experience”.
It’s a laser show basically. But it has non-laser projections that look like a huge television screen with great animation. It’s worth taking time of to visit when you’re in Sentosa. After all, the island, with all the construction that is going on, is quite boring.
It’s a family vacation. If you caught the Musical Fountain a lot of times, you may want to give it a miss, well, the show will inevitably be boring if it’s the same each time.

I took that picture to place it here because it’s the clearest image I took of the Musical Fountain in Sentosa. The reason is the fire flames are really bright and the light is sufficient to be well captured. The laser show… I tried to capture that on camera, the results aren’t too good. I’ll post the other pictures from the Musical Fountain later.
K.S: Sentosa has a lot of locations under construction. It’s a pity. The place could have been much better.

by mmlj (May 30, 2005 at 3 PM)Don’t think they ever profit. Radio this morning says that the TDB should just concentrate on Food and Shopping as the main attractions. Pepper crab and GSS.
mmlj: What’s GSS? I feel quite the same actually. If you think about our attractions, many of them aren’t comparable to other countries. I daren’t not mention anything much about Escape Theme Park, it is probably one of the worst theme parks in the world, it’s kind of embarassing.
Sentosa is not worth visiting at the moment. The Musical Fountain is good. Perhaps animal lover would find the zoo and night safari worth it. Personally, I prefer to give them a miss. If I were a tourist. I would wait for the integrated resort. I am looking forward to it. There are lots of hype and somehow, I have a feeling, it’s really going to be pretty good.

by Mr. Dew (Jun 6, 2005 at 10 PM)Ramp Powered Launch or RPL has been retired long. RPL are flat-bed ferries. Now they have been replaced with commercialised ferries, partly to comfort the parents that their precious are well-taken care of.

Remember, a week ago I actually went to Sentosa? Sentosa is an island located at the south of Singapore. Singaporeans visit Sentosa to experience island life forgetting that Singapore mainland itself is an island too.

Robby Cruz: Good that you have enjoy Sentosa. It’s for people to visit. I heard that most tourists are satisfied with it. My only problem is Sentosa is its lack of “replayability”.
