In hopes of deterring spammers that are targeting on WordPress which is the software that is powering my blog, I have decided on the following measures.
# Comments must include Name and Email for the time being. It’ll be lifted after I go through some suggestions to stop spammers. I know some people don’t like to fill in their email addresses.
# Comments cannot have more than 3 external links now. I don’t think that’ll affect much since most of the comments doesn’t have links within them.
#I’m activating a WordPress plug-in to attempt to stop these posters too.
I hope these measures will work out. It’s really annoying to see casino advertisements in my comments planted in all sorts of posts.
